MUISE, Edward Dennis “Snag” – 80, Pont-du-Marais Boarding Home, Lower West Pubnico, passed away peacefully in Yarmouth Regional Hospital, July 18, 2012 after a five month illness. Born in Wakefield, Mass., he was a son of the late Abel and Cécile
(LeFave) Muise. He resided in Quinan until his mid sixties. He is survived by sister, Anne Marie (Bob) Frotten, North Easton, Mass.; brother, Hector (Marguerite), Dartmouth; sisters-in-law; Ella Muise, Ste. Anne du Ruisseau; Patricia Muise, Ontario and Albertine Muise-Joyce, Ontario. He was predeceased by sisters; Jeanette Doucette, Pauline Surette and Bernadette Muise; brothers, Walter, Bernard and Delbert. Edward participated in programs at the Kay Nickerson Adult Service Center in Yarmouth for over 20 years. He was committed to all his involvements throughout his life. He was a man of deep faith. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. Visitation was held on Friday, July 20 from 7-9 p.m., with prayers at 8 p.m. Funeral mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Saint Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Quinan, Msgr. Gerald Leblanc officiated. Interment followed in the parish cemetery. It has been requested that there be family flowers only. Memorial donations in Edward’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Kay Nickerson Adult Service Center. The family would like to thank Charlene, April and staff at Pont-du-Marais for their care and affection, the nursing staff of 4 East, Yarmouth Regional Hospital.
