Jean Godfrey, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and so much more, passed away suddenly in Victoria, BC on May 18, 2012, exactly one month shy of her 85th birthday. She was predeceased by her parents, Bill and Clem Godfrey, and her sister Mary. She is survived by her four children Patti (Mathews), Ric (Mary), David, and Debbie (Andrew), 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a brother Bill Godfrey, and many very good friends in her various groups – bridge, book club, University Women’s, Fairfield United Church, and others. Jean was born in Sackville and attended Mount Allison University. She lived in Venezuela, Calgary, Sidney, Gray Creek, and Victoria. Jean returned to live in Sackville from 1996 to 1999. While she was here, she was a member of the Sackville CFUW, the Sackville United Church, and The Once in a While Club. Jean’s life was celebrated in Vancouver on June 16th.
