RIVERTON HEIGHTS – Deborah Lorraine MacNeil, age 61, of Riverton Heights, formerly of Plymouth, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Earland and Isabel (Fuller) Conley.
She was a former employee of Glen Haven Manor and Home Care. She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and choir member. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She is survived by sons: Mark (Tracey), Plymouth; David (Sonya), Plymouth; Geoffrey, Alma; grandchildren: Bailey, Sophy, Taylor, Jesse and Sean; sisters: Costella (Ronald) McLeod, Florida; Donna (Benvie) Sample, Alma; brother: James (Wilma), Alma; nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Jessie Marie (David) Parkinson; brother-in-law, Bill (Celina) MacNeil, and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband Michael.
Visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow. Funeral mass 2 p.m. Monday in Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, New Glasgow, with Father Gary MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Abercrombie Cemetery.
