CARR, MEDLEY - Medley Edward Edison Carr, Born October 6, 1937, Geary, New Brunswick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22nd at Oromocto Public Hospital, with his loving wife Polly by his side. Medley will be forever loved and always in the heart of his children, daughters, Marianne Carr (Nelson), Angela Maxine Purdue (Robert) and son D'Arcy Carr (Ana). The best Papa in the world will be truly missed and fondly remembered by his grandchildren, Matthew Carr (Jillian), Zachary Carr (Charlotte) Jacklyn, Alyson and Laura Purdue and Gabriel Cunha-Carr, and great grandson Quentin Carr. Medley was a faithful brother to Teresa Carr and Stella Carr and brother-in-law to Sandra Gahain (Raymond). Uncle Medley was always making fun times for all the nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Eva Carr and siblings Fayne Carr, Vincent Carr, Clara Carr and Vivian Grasse. Medley was a lifetime member of Lion's Clubs International. He was the chartered President of the Geary Lions Club and served as District Governor. Medley was the New Brunswick Provincial Fire Marshall until his retirement in 1991. Medley was very happy working in his wood shop, making many wonderful things for family and friends. He loved the Lord, listening to God's word and singing the old hymns. He will be greatly missed by his Church family at Geary Baptist Church. See you in Heaven Medley!!! Visitation will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 25th, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Geary Baptist Church on Thursday, July 26th, 2012 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Greg Sparkes officiating.
