HARDY, Arnold Bruce – 99, of Yarmouth, passed away July 24, 2012 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born December 17, 1912 in Cut Knife, Saskatchewan, he was a son of the late Bruce and Theresa (Robertson) Hardy. He is survived by daughter, Sandra (Leonard) Burkitt, Hebron; son, Lee (Dorothy) Hardy, Tatamagouche; and was a proud grandparent of six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Yarmouth. Visitation took place one hour prior to the funeral service, 1-2 p.m., which was held on Friday, July 27 at 2 p.m. from the Salvation Army Church, Majors Peter and Janice Rowe officiated. Interment took place the following day, Saturday, July 28 at 10 a.m. in Riverside Cemetery next to Ruby, his beloved wife of 50 years. Flowers welcome.
