McADAM, LOUISE - 1921-2012 - The death of Louise Gertrude McAdam of Beechwood occurred on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. Born in Florenceville on March 3, 1921 she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Elsie (White) Glenn. She was also predeceased by her husband, John McAdam; one son, Jack; one daughter, Sharon; one son in law, Gary; eight siblings, Lizzy, Myrtle, Don, Russell, Elsie, Blanche, Eddie and Nettie. Louise is survived by her three children, Marie Pickard (Gary, deceased), Barbara Porter (Claude) and Carol McAdam (Gord Whalen); son in law, Roy Woodcock (Sharon, deceased); seven grandchildren, Robyn Rocha, Sean Pickard, Mike Woodcock, Jennifer Moore, Shari Woodcock, Cavelle Porter and Tyrell Porter; five great grandchildren, Jordan Hodgson, Liam Rocha, Owen, Cadence and Brayden Woodcock; sister in law, Elvria McAdam and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Louise was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, July 30, 2012 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 11:00 am from the chapel. Fr. David Fulton officiating. Interment will be in the Johnville Cemetery. Donations made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, Alzheimer's Society, SPCA or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
