On July 23rd, 2012, Yasuye (Patricia) Fukuhara passed away at the age of 85 years. Born in Port Alice, B.C., on January 13, 1927.

Yasuye is survived by her loving daughters Noreen Fukuhara of North Vancouver, Marlene Fukuhara of Vancouver, son Allan Fukuhara of Kamloops, B.C., granddaughter Emma Fukuhara of North Vancouver; sisters Rose Hirose of Steveston, B.C., Fumiko Lewis of Edmonton, Alberta and brother Tom Adachi of Cranbrook.

Yasuye was predeceased by her brother Tosh Adachi of Calgary, Alberta in 1986.

Yasuye will be missed by her family and friends and will be remembered as a kind and loving mother and wife.
