Passed peacefully away on Friday, July 27, 2012, at the Caribou Memorial Veterans' Pavilion, Thomas Gordon Cheeseman, at the age of 87 years; World War II Veteran 125 Newfoundland Squadron RAF. Predeceased by his wife Vida in 2008. Sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his three daughters: Donna (Keith) Warren, Eleanor Penney, Mary (Keith) Lundrigan; seven grandchildren: Krista (Bob) Wiscombe, Karla (Kyle) Strong, Karen Warren, Susan (Scott) Vere-Holloway, Tom Penney (Candice Jagoe), Tracie Lundrigan (Adam Green), Mark Lundrigan (Kimberly Kenway); seven great-grandchildren: Emily and Alex Wiscombe, Mason and Avery Strong, Mia Betances, Grady and Ethan Vere-Holloway; sister Eleanor (Wesley) Stoyles; brother Harvey (Susie) Cheeseman; sisters-in-law: Ellie and Joan Cheeseman and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation Monday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, July 31 at 2 p.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Burin with inurnment at Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery, Hodders' Point, Burin. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House.
