WESTVILLE – Bradley Eric Crowther, Westville, passed away at the tender age of 17, on Monday, July 30, 2012 as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
Born in Halifax, he was a son of the Irene (Myers) Crowther, Westville and the late Wilson Crowther.
Bradley was a Grade 12 student at Northumberland Regional High School, looking forward to his graduation year, and recently enjoyed his trip to Europe with his school family. Bradley had a great love for hockey playing for the Westville Miners hockey teams throughout his childhood. He was an avid Boston Bruins fan, and enjoyed watching hockey games with his dad. He also enjoyed hanging out with his friends, especially spending time with his girlfriend Nicole, and was patiently waiting for his little niece to be born.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Irene (Jan Tore Rikardson); sisters Veronica (Kevin MacKinnon), Westville, and Tanya Harnish, Truro; brother, Dave Crowther, Truro; maternal grandfather Cecil “Denny” Myers, Stellarton; love of his life, girlfriend Nicole MacDonald, Alma and loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his dad, Wilson; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Myers and paternal grand parents Dan and Josie Crowther; and infant brother Frank Eric.
Bradley is resting at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. His funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Saturday from St. Bees’ Anglican Church, Westville, with the Rev. Aidan Kingsbury officiating. Burial will be in the St. Bees’ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made his immediate family.
