Tracey Cleaveland
Tracey Cleaveland, 47, of Halifax passed away July 26 at home with her husband Clayton Pemberton and one of her dear and comforting nurses at her side. Tracey was predeceased by her mother, Myra (Murphy) Cleaveland formerly of Glace Bay and Charlottetown and grandmother, Reta Murphy of Charlottetown. Tracey is survived by her sister, Nicky, brothers Ken (Bev) and Mike; nephews, Andrew (Ashley), David (Alyssa); niece Jennifer (Ryan) Kelly all of Charlottetown, P.E.I;. Aunt Ena Marjorie, cousin Brian (Val) Gaensbauer and Brian's son Evan of Vancouver. Also surviving Tracey are her father in law Jim (Gail) Pemberton, mother in law Shirley (Steve) Pemberton; sisters in law Sharon (Fred) MacPherson and Gail (John) MacKillop and Brenda Cleaveland. Tracey graduated from Morrison Glace Bay High School in 1983, attained her BSc. at UCCB and St. F.X. University (1987) and Bachelor of Health Education at Dalhousie University in 1989. She was employed with Canadian Tire and until her illness, Colonial Honda in Halifax. Tracey was a genuine, loving and giving person who gave so much to her family and friends, who will miss her greatly. Tracey and Clayton couldn't be more thankful for the assistance and support of her family, friends, coworkers, Colonial Honda, Doctors, nurses, VON, Home Care and Capital Health staff whose lives she touched and in turn, touched hers. Visitation was held Monday and the Memorial Service on Tuesday at Atlantic Funeral Homes, 6552 Bayers Rd, with Internment at Mt Olivett Cemetery, 7076 Mumford Rd in Halifax.
