William R. "Dagger" Decoste
At Edmonton, AB, on Sunday April 15, 2012 of William R. "Dagger" DeCoste of Edmonton and formerly of Charlottetown in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Gertude (nee Martell) DeCoste. Dear father of Emily (late Newman) Wight, Georgetown; Patricia (David) MacLeod, Bonshaw; and Cindy (Andrew) Sage, Charlottetown. Grandfather of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Ralph (Eva) DeCoste, Chilliwack BC, and his aunt Ruth A. Vessey of Charlottetown. Predeceased by his parents Bill & Pearl DeCoste; son Billy; grandson Tyler Wight; brother Vince and sisters Pauline and Theresa. A memorial service will be held on Friday Aug. 3, 2012 at 2 p.m. from St. James Church, Georgetown. Interment in St. James Parish Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud.
