It is with great sadness that the family of the late Cecil George Billard announces his passing on Monday July 30th, at the age of 84 years. Born at Grand Bruit NL, Cecil was the son of the late Gilbert and Julie (Hatcher) Billard. He was also predeceased by his brother Russell Billard. He leaves to mourn with loving and precious memories brothers Murray (Coleen) Billard Louisbourg NS, Allen (Betty) Billard Carbonear NL, Sid (Mary) Billard Corner Brook NL, sister John (Amy) Rose Ottawa ON, special friends Winston and Diane Blackmore, the Lawrence family and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and many friends. To honor Cecil's wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral services took place on Thursday August 2nd, 2 PM at Wesley United Cemetery, Port aux Basques officiated by Rev Patricia Ritchie.
