DeVILLER, Janet (Jeanette) – 68, passed away on July 26, 2012 at the Montreal General Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Janet is survived by her father, Francis DeViller, Veteran’s Place, Yarmouth, as well as by sisters, Helene Jacquard and Catherine (Victor) Comeau, both of Dayton, Yarmouth Co. She was predeceased by her mother, Isabelle DeViller. She had given five years of her life to the religious order of The Sisters of the Assumption at Campbelton, N.B., and later became an Air Canada flight attendant for twenty-five years, until she retired due to illness. She was stationed in Montreal (Dorval), Quebec. She will be transferred to H. M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home and Crematorium Ltd., 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, where a visitation will take place from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, August 8. A funeral mass will take place at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 9 at St. Ambrose Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father John MacPherson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Gabriel’s Parish Cemetery, Comeau’s Hill. Donations in Janet’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of choice.
