Peacefully enveloped by love with family and friends at Riverview Manor, Montague, Georgina Edna Milley passed away on August 2, 2012.
Georgina was born May 16, 1930 in Glace Bay, Cape Breton.
She was the very loving mother of Willena (Randy) Angus and devoted ‘Mamma’ to Alysia Angus Lunt (Christopher) and Aidan Angus. Also survived by half sister, Catherine Peach and brother-in-law, Angus ‘Guy’ MacQueen.
Georgina was predeceased by her husband Frederick Milley; parents George and Maude Munroe; sister Alice MacQueen; infant brother, Robert Munroe; half siblings Margaret Campbell, Mary Cann, Hector MacDonald, John MacDonald, Arthur MacDonald, and Allister MacDonald.
Georgina was an exceptional soul that volunteered with many organizations, loved animals and cared for all people. Georgina was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 138, Ashby, Cape Breton.
Resting at Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home with Visitation Saturday, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Cardigan, Sunday at 2 p.m. Her remains will then be forwarded to Sydney Memorial Chapel for Visitation on Monday 6-9 p.m. with burial Tuesday.
