At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, of Cora Kathleen MacDonald of Searletown, aged 90 years. Born in Kinkora on Jan. 15, 1922, daughter of the late John and Emma (MacNeill) McKenna. Wife of the late Preston Roy MacDonald. Mother of Ronny (Sandra), Bedeque; Brian (Verna), Cornwall; Barry (Bev), Cornwall; and Sherman (Ruth), Searletown. Grandmother to nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ruby (George) Matheson, Summerside; Shirley (Erland) Cousins, Crapaud; and Edison McKenna, Summerside. Sister-in-law of Helen McKenna, Kelvin Grove; Verna McKenna, Summerside; Florence McKenna, Guelph, Ont., and Marian McKenna, Crapaud. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Frank, Everett (Mary), Ulric, Victor and John E. (Jack) McKenna. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in the Crapaud Gospel Hall Cemetery.
