The families of the late David and Donna McKeough wish to thank you, the Northside Community, for all the support you gave us in our time of loss. Your sympathy, generosity, and caring buoyed us up even as we grieved, and made it possible to celebrate their lives even as we laid them to rest. The outpouring of goodwill came not only from friends, colleagues, co-workers and fellow musicians in Cape Breton, but from across all of Nova Scotia, and beyond. David and Donna’s families would also like to thank the first responders and the hospital staff for Emily’s care, Dooley Funeral Home for their exceptional professionalism and compassion, and all those who participated in the funeral mass for David and Donna. The emotional and material support you gave us, culminating in the McKeough Children’s Trust Concert at the Membertou Convention Centre last month, has been a great comfort as we continue to heal. May God bless you all.
