(MAZERALL) ROGERS, ELAINE JEANNE - The passing of Jeanne Elaine Rogers of Fredericksburg occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on Wednesday, August 8th, 2012. She was 65. Born in Fredericton NB she was the daughter of late Shirley Kelly and Greta Effie Kelly / Fletcher. Baptist by faith, Jeanne worked at the Harriet Irving Library for over twenty two years having enjoyed it very much, was a member of the Fredericton Garden Club for almost twenty years and was part of the team that helped look after the Palliative Care Garden on the third floor of the DECH. She graduated from Atlantic Business College with a secretarial diploma in 1990/91. She enjoyed crafts, dancing, reading, walking and skating. She liked gardening so much she loved the garden tours in the summer. Survived by her husband Angus Theodore Rogers, son Alexander (Sandy) Mazerall, grandson Teegan Ray Nason and daughter in law Susan Mazerall (Guitar), sisters Hilda Mae Scott (Russell), Beatrice Kelly, both of Fredericton, Diane Palmer (Thom), Clarence New York USA, Joan Dempster, Hampton, NB, brothers Gerald Kelly, Vancouver, B.C, John (Jack) Kelly (Karen) of Terrace, B.C, Stephen Kelly (Patsy) of Prince William, Dennis Burns Spawood, B.C, sister in law Jean Rogers of Mississauga, Ontario, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her first husband Lewis G. Mazerall, son Michael Lewis Mazerall, Sister Gloria Knee, niece Joan Scott and nephew Mark Scott, sister in law Rose Wright.
Resting at Bishop’s Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton, where visitation will take place on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9PM. A Funeral service will be held from the Second Kingsclear Baptist Church, 15 Mazerall Settlement Road, Upper Kingsclear, NB, on Saturday, August 11th at 2 PM with Rev. Kendall McRae officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Hanwell Road. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested the Carol Bronnum Memorial Fund, Upper Kingsclear Baptist Church, 15 Mazerall Settlement Road, Upper Kingsclear, NB E3E 1V4 or to a charity of ones choice for memorial contributions.
