The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, of Kathleen “Kay” McCourt of Summerside, aged 87 years. Born in Emerald, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Florence (Mulligan) White. Survived by her children Donald McCourt; Dianne (Ken) Cormier; Carla (Jean Luc) Côté; Robert (Kathleen) McCourt; Gail McCourt; Gary (Joy) McCourt; Mary Lynn McCourt (Randy Dibblee); David (Joanne) McCourt; son-in-law John Mark (Joy) Arsenault; nine grandchildren; sisters Dorothy (Clarence) Doyle; Donna Fraser; and sister-in-law Nan White. Predeceased by her husband Harold McCourt; daughters Sandra Arsenault and Kathleen “Kathy” McCourt; and by her brothers Alfred and Raymond White. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Saturday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Friday from 6-9 p.m. Memorial donations to the Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Association of Prince Edward Island would be appreciated.
