At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, of Janie M. Crossman of Central Bedeque, aged 88 years. Born in Wellington on Jan. 4, 1924, daughter of the late George F. and Ada P. (Reeves) Pye. Dear wife of the late Horace C. Crossman. Loving mother of Wayne (Merilla) Crossman, Central Bedeque; Judy (James) McCormack, Chelton; Brian (Susan) Crossman, Caroline, Alta.; and Donna MacKay (Paul Gallant), Central Bedeque. Grandmother of Joy Murphy (Morgan), Elaine Crossman (Chris), Tammy McCormack (Lance), Patricia McCormack (Todd), Michael Crossman (Megan), Timothy MacKay, Tyler MacKay (Alyssia), Robert, Ryan and Cole Crossman. Great-grandmother of Brett, Colby, Devin, Tia, Trey, Patrick, Jessica, Liam, Shay, Alexander, Kaitlyn, Josie, Jina and Devon. Sister of Muriel Thompson (Elmer deceased), June (Fred) Peck, Sharon (Richard) MacNeill, Clare (Don) Jones, Charles (Beatrice) Pye, Lorne (Barb) Pye and Carl Pye (Jennie deceased). Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Blanche Enman (Earl deceased), Lillian MacLeod, (Norman deceased), brothers Earl, Vans and Stanley Pye. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Monday in the Central Bedeque Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.
