Daniels, Cyril - In “Memory” of Cyril Daniels, who passed away on August 26, 2011
Born in Middleton in 1933, Cyril was the son of the late Everet and Elsie Daniels. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side after a brave battle with cancer. Cyril was a kind gentle loving husband, father and grandfather, who is sadly missed by his wife Doreen (Dodie), son Scott, daughter-in-law Susan, grandchildren Demi and Tyler, Kentucky; granddaughter Danielle and family in Edmonton. He was predeceased by his son Gary of Kentucky. He was a past member of the Lions Club, Travellers Club and was involved in Neighbourhood Watch. Cyril worked in management for several years in Halifax, New Glasgow and New Minas before opening his own business, Daniels Distributing, which he ran successfully for 28 years. He was not only well known and respected in business, but also in his everyday life. Cyril was a true craftsman, and after his retirement, looked forward to finding time for his passion of designing and working with wood, which also included carving ducks. He was a friend to all, and is sadly missed. Always in our hearts, Dodie and family
