Passed away suddenly but peacefully after a short illness on Thursday, August 9th, 2012 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital with her family by her side. Catherine Sears age 67 years. Predeceased by her parents Catherine and William Kearsey, brothers William Junior and John as well as her twin grandsons Nicholas and Michael King. Leaving to mourn with fond memories her best friend and devoted husband of 47 years Joseph Sears; her loving children: Colleen, Todd (Tracey) and Heather (Doug) King; her grandchildren whom she dearly loved: Katie, Kayla, Joey, Rebecca and Abby; special great-granddaughter Brianna; sisters: Shirley, Betty and Diane; brothers: Fred (Jean), Eric and David. Also a large circle of brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, visitation on Saturday from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, August 13th, 2012 from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
