With deeply saddened hearts, we regret to announce the passing of our daughter Jennifer, on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of Bernard and Julianne (Petite) O’Donnell and was a member of St. John’s Church.
She was a very loving, thoughtful, friendly and easy going girl who had a lust for life, enjoyed having a laugh with her family and friends and always had a smile for everyone. Jennifer always thought of her mother as her “Rock”; she had a very special bond with her mother, even when they weathered through thick and thin, good times and bad, they always maintained their loving mother - daughter relationship.
Jennifer will be deeply missed by her loving parents, Bernie and Julianne; her infant son, Ryan Bernard, all at home; sister, Sandra (Joel) Clements; nieces, Leah-Lynn and Emma-Julianne, all of Glace Bay, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jennifer was predeceased by her paternal grandmother, Viola O’Donnell and her maternal grandparents, Jake and Clementine (Popwell) Petite.
In honouring the family’s wishes there will be no public visitation or public funeral service. Interment will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
