Cecilia Doyle (fondly known to many as C.C.)
October 26, 1935 - August 10, 2012
After a courageous battle with cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing at the Elizabeth-Bruyere Continuing Care Hospital, Ottawa, of Cecilia Doyle, daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary Doyle, Earnscliffe.
She was the loving wife of the late Arthur Aitken, devoted mother to her daughter Ruthie (Nigel), her sons Edwin (Antoinette) and Devon (Jessica). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Latisha, Tanika, Luca and Matteo. Cecilia will also be greatly missed by her brother Eugene (Jean), and sisters Josephine (Frank), Rita (Joe, deceased), Eileen (Louie), Hilda, the late Mary (Pat), and Teresa (Herb) as well as by many other family members and friends.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment in St. Joachim’s Church Cemetery, Vernon.
Visitation Wednesday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff at Elisabeth-Bruyere Continuing Care Hospital in Ottawa, Ontario, for all of their great care, compassion, and support provided to C.C. and the family. God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So he put his arms around you, and whispered “Come to Me”.
With tearful eyes we watched you, we watched you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands now rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best.
We all love and will miss the Lady from PEI who was tough as nails and as loving as the Lord himself.
