Passed peacefully away at the age of 85 surrounded by his loving family at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville, on August 2, 2012. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Sarah Jane Bursey, brother Lawrence, sister Hilda, and granddaughter Danielle. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Albina; sons Wayne (Sharon), Edgar (Elizabeth), Hedley (Eileen), and Rick; daughters Nellie (Harvey), Nina (Karl); sister, Lily Kirklin, three brothers-in-law, 1 sister in law, fifteen grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. He was a kind, devoted, and loving son, brother, husband, and father. His gentle nature and quiet spirit along with his friendly personality outweighed his small stature. Dad was known and loved by many near and far. Rested at Emmanuel United Church, North West Brook from where the funeral service officiated by Rev.
