House, John - 75, Truro passed away July 11, 2012 at home. He was born in Halifax and grew up in Brookfield. In his earlier years, he was an employee of Brookfield Creamery and played District League Hockey with Brookfield and Hilden. He was a little guy with a big shot. He enjoyed horse racing, reading books and was an avid sports fan. John was good to his nieces and nephews. He is survived by brothers-in-law, Foreman Jr. “Bo”, Marshall and Michael Frizzell; sister-in-law Florence May. He was predeceased by wife, Miriam (Frizzell). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15 from 1:00 pm until time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro with Capt.
