It is with great sadness that the family of the late Terrance Roberts announce his passing on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s at the age of 62 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories is his wife, Gertrude, of 42 years; remembered and fondly loved by daughter: Tiffany (Kenny) Brake; son: Terrance; grandson: Brady, all of Fort McMurray, AB; furry friend: Brownie; sisters and brothers: Winnie (Jim) Dingwell, Ina (Gord) Park, Arthur (Lynn) Roberts, Barb (Roy) Mosher, Shirley (Dave) Parsons, Hector (Doris) Roberts, Linda (Dwayne) Paige, Christine (Eric) Sheppard; brothers and sisters-in-law: Norman (Lottie) Childs, Jean (Lawrence) Sheppard, Alice (Cecil) Sheppard, Thelma (Wilson) Sheppard, Elizabeth (Ralph) Lovell, Elsie (Calvin) Gilbert, Rhodena (Max) Giles, Clarence (Joan) Childs, Thomas (Sharon) Childs, John (Lisa) Childs, Jane (Calvin) Hamlyn, Howard (Judy) Childs, Max (Marjorie) Childs, Terry (Tracey) Childs, Nelson (Donna) Childs; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Tammy, 1982; parents: George and Delephine Roberts; In-laws: Melina and Thomas Childs. Visitation will take place from St. James Anglican Church, Lark Harbour on Wednesday, 7-9:00 pm and Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9:00 pm from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, August 17th at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Malcolm Palmer officiating. Interment to follow at the St. James Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
