July 26, 1918 - August 8, 2012. Passed peacefully away at G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on Wednesday August 8, 2012, Barnett E. Humby of Musgravetown in his 94th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his eight children: Emma (Andrew), Maxwell (Verna), Donald (Brenda), Major Ruth, William (Shirley), James (Colleen), Bernard (Joan) and Melvin (Linda); 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren plus a large circle of other family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Flossie, baby son, step-sister Daisy and step-brother Harold. Funeral service was officiated by Majors Ed and Luanne Barrow from Islandview Salvation Army Citadel, Musgravetown on Sunday, August 12, 2012 with interment following at the Old Salvation Army Cemetery, Musgravetown. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Blundons Funeral Home – Shoal Harbour.
