Born in Brighton, England, on Oct. 8, 1945, she was the daughter of Irene (Gander) and the late George Newbury. Dear mother to Wendy (Roger) and Steven (Jennifer). Loving grandmother to Calvin, Jessie and Ashley and to her two great-grandchildren. Glennis is also survived by sisters Gayle Laporte, Deborah Dorey, Kelly Newbury, brother Patrick Newbury, mother-in-law Beulah Anstey, and brother-in-law Robert Bowser. Predeceased by father, father-in-law William Bowser and sister Lorrie Blackmore. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with a Time for Sharing of Memories on Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
