Passed away suddenly at Trepassey Retirement Home in his 87 year, Walter Hewitt of Trepassey. Predeceased by parents Thomas & Mary(Nee Corrigan), Fr.Samuel and John (wife Gen) and sister Mary. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his cousin and friend Ed Corrigan and wife Kitty, life-time friend Michael Follett and a large circle of cousins and other family members. Special thanks to Marie Butler for her constant care for Walter and to everyone who helped Walter in any way. Remains resting at Fahey’s Funeral Home, Trepassey on Saturday August 18 from 5-9 p.m. and on Sunday August 19 from 10 a.m.-12 Noon, 1-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Monday August 20 at 10 a.m. from Holy Redeemer Church, Trepassey.
