Peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Friday, August 17, 2012, of Mr. Ron McCormick of Cornwall, age 74 years.
Beloved husband of Beverly, and dear father of Ronald (Julie) of Miramichi, N.B., Gregory (Linda) of Charlottetown, Michael (Kim) of Toronto, ON, Cathy McCormick of Toronto, ON, Michelle McCormick of Halifax, N.S., Thane Burgoyne (Caroline Balaba) of Lloydminster, AB, and John Burgoyne (Wendy Parsons) of Glen Valley. Loving Papa of grandchildren Erica, Olivia, Tristan, Abai, Breanne, Katelyn and Justice; and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Faith and Carson. He will also be lovingly remembered by brother Don “Gunner” (Sandra) and sister Sheila (Harold) Pineau.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Helena (Shepard) McCormac and brother, Brian.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, then to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Cornwall, for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Martin of Tours & St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours on Monday from 7-9 p.m.
