Percy Tower of Dorchester passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2012 wrapped in the arms of the love of his life and surrounded by his family who adored him. Never without a smile and a mischievous twinkle in his eyes, Percy made the world shine a little bit brighter for everyone who knew him. Words cannot express how much he will be missed by his wife of 56 years Joyce (nee Hicks), his daughter Wendy (Keats), sons Reg and Wade, 6 grandchildren Tracy (Amos), Jody (Steele), Dustin, Dylan, Natalie and Josh, and 2 great grandchildren Jenna and Brady (Morris).
The last remaining member of his family, Percy was pre-deceased by his brothers Carmen and Don, and sisters Hilda Rankin (Hamilton, ON) and Dot McKinnon (Chilliwack, BC).
As there will be no visitation, friends are welcome to drop in to his home over the coming days. A celebration of Percy’s life will be held on Sunday, August 26 at St. Edward’s Community Hall in Dorchester. Drop in anytime between 2:00 – 6:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, his wishes were that donations be made to the Dorchester Fire Department or a charity of your choice.
