Melinda was a member of McCulloch United Church, Harmony-Camden and the UCW. She will always be lovingly remembered for her wonderful sense of humour, her love for knitting, homemade jewelry, quilting and gardening for which many of her loved ones benefited greatly. It was always difficult to determine which gave her more pleasure – the work or the giving to ones she loved. Melinda’s family want to extend a sincere and heartfelt “Thank You” to Dr. Christopher Cook and the doctors and nurses of Palliative Care Unit, Fourth Floor, Colchester Regional Hospital. We also appreciate and are grateful to our Harmony-Camden United Church family, especially Reverend Sue, members of UCW as well as her other friends who offered support, food, encouragement and love. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, August 25, 2012, in McCulloch United Church, corner of Harmony and Camden Roads, Harmony, Reverend Sue King-Darby officiating. Reception will follow in the church basement. In lieu flowers, donations in Melinda’s memory to McCulloch United Church are welcomed.
