The same as he lived his life, quietly, and with little fuss, Micheal Larkin, age 54, of Charlottetown and formerly of New Glasgow, slipped quietly away to rest in peace, free of pain at last.
Micheal will be deeply missed by his devoted wife, Libby (MacKenzie); his son, Kendrew, the joy of his life; and his golden retriever, Abbie. He will also be missed by all his family: his mother, Louise; sisters and brothers, Christine Newbury, Earlene, James (Judy), Janet (Bryan), Susan Gallant (Terry), John, Robert and Jeff (Lisa); his father-in-law, Dr. Elmer MacKenzie; his in-laws, Rev. Kevin and Valerie MacKenzie, Dr. David and Sharon MacKenzie and Dr. Peter and Shawna MacKenzie; and many treasured nieces, nephews and friends.
Micheal was predeceased by his father, Earle; his step-father, Jerry Arsenault; and his mother-in-law, Lois MacKenzie.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Sunday, August 26, 2012, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Park Royal United Church, Charlottetown, on Monday, August 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Indian River Cemetery.
