Lenna (Vel) Keith, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday August 24, 2012 in her 91st year.
Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Grace (Crooks) Rodenhiser.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara (William) Pelerine, Stellarton; daughter-in-law, Kay Keith, Toledo, Ohio; grandchildren: Leonard (Mary) Pelerine, Merigomish; Lori Pelerine, Riverton; Lenna (Blair) Fraser, Plymouth; Jon (Jamie) Keith, Toledo, Ohio; great-grandchildren: Nicholas, Hilary, Samantha, Tyler, Rylee, Tara, Alexa and Chase.
She was predeceased by her husband Elwood (Bucky) Keith, a son, Leonard; a brother, Roy; sisters, Barbara and Jessie.
Cremation to take place. There will be no visitation or services. Burial will take place in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Donations in memory of Lenna may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Aberdeen Hospital.
