The death occurred peacefully at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, P.E.I. on Monday, August 27th, 2012 of Louis John Cahill of Charlottetown, P.E.I. and formerly of Summerside, aged 81 years. Louis was born on July 2nd, 1931 in Alberton, P.E.I. to his late parents John and Mary (nee Finnian) Cahill. Survived by his sisters Erma Giriat of Florida and Lillian Birrane of Preston Lake, Ont., brother-in-law Fred Monteith of B.C., sister-in-law Zita Cahill of Summerside and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Beside his parents Louis was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Donations in Louis’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. By personal request, there will be no funeral service or visiting hours held. Following cremation, interment will take place at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Alberton, P.E.I. at a later date.
