Passed away suddenly but peacefully at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, August 26th, 2012, Violet Warford, age 78 years. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband of 59 years Gordon Warford; children: Dave (Gale), Judy (Bruce), Barb (Jack), Gump, Freddie (Maxine), Violet, Yvonne (Gerard); son-in-law Nelson; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; sisters: Joan and Nell (Ed); brother Fred (Shirl); sisters-in-law: Marg, Margie and Winnie; brother-in-law Bern; as well as a large circle of family and friends especially the girls at Pop’s Convenience. A special thank you to the staff of St. Clare’s and Father Roche. No visitation by request. Cremation has already taken place. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 30th, 2012 at 11 a.m. from St. Peter on the Rock, Learning Road, Shea Heights. Inurnment to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
