Clement Gallant

GALLANT, CLEMENT - It is with deep sadness that we must announce the sudden passing of Clement A. "Clem" Gallant, age 70, of Melrose. Clem passed away peacefully, while surrounded by his family on August 28, 2012 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Cross Point, PQ in 1941, he was a son of the late Edmond and Evangeline (Wilmot) Gallant. He was an avid gardener and his vegetables won many ribbons at the Port Elgin County Fair. He was the loving husband to Aline (Bordage) Gallant and father to son, Roland of Moncton; daughter, Wendy (Rene) Thibodeau, of St. Antoine; and son, Marc of Melrose. Grandfather to Venessa Thibodeau of Dieppe and Julien Thibodeau of St. Antoine. Great-grandfather to Savannah Thibodeau of Dieppe. He also leaves to mourn his sisters, Doris (Ken) Johnson, Moncton and Eileen and Dianne Gallant of Melrose; and brothers, Raymond (Noella) Gallant of Lakeville and Yvon Gallant of Melrose.
