It is with heartfelt sadness and faith in everlasting life, the family of Luzie Legien announces her peaceful passing in Kamloops on August 26, 2012. She was 79.

Loving remembered by sons Peter (Betty) Paul of Balgonie, Saskatchewan and Frank (Karen) Paul of Kelowna, B.C.; grandchildren Christopher, Cameron, Elisha (Franklin), Alyssa, Collin and Graeme, sisters Ruth, Ursula and brother Dieter. Her special friend Betty and her new and wonderful Berwick family.

She is predeceased by brother Ulrich and grandson Daniel.

Luzie a long time resident of Kamloops worked at the Royal Inland Hospital until her retirement in 1998. She enjoyed her work as she had many treasured friends that surrounded her. Luzie was devoted to her church and home but her passion was her whole family. She was an independent, intelligent person and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. We are grateful to the angels of Royal Inland Hospital who cared for Luzie so compassionately and patiently.

Viewing will be held in the Schoening Funeral Chapel on Thursday, August 30, 2012 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gordon Heselton officiating.

Should friends desire, donations instead of flowers, to a charity of one's choice in memory of Luzie would be appreciated.
