MORRISON, Marguerite Joyce – age 62, passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, at Mount Sinai Hospital (Toronto, ON) on Friday, August 10, 2012. The cause was a result of cancer. Born April 22, 1950 in Middleton, Nova Scotia, Marguerite lived in Toronto, and worked most recently with RBC Insurance. Marguerite was an active member of Oakwood Baptist Church where she ministered as Deaconess, Sunday School Superintendent, Choir Member, and various other ministries. She is survived by her only son, Justin (Cesarina), as well as her siblings: Carl, Stanley Jr., Robert (Joan), Beverly, Josephine, Frances and Gregory (Faye), and her nieces and nephews: Donna (Carol), Jill (Wayne), Ricky (Sherry), Tyler, Sabrina, Tina, Kenneth, Jason (Laurie), Jayden, Tracy and Chris. Marguerite was predeceased in death by her mother Marguerite, her father Stanley and her sister Alice. Marguerite’s favourite scripture is taken from Psalm 73:26: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
