On Friday, August 24, 2012, Joan passed away peacefully at the age of 86 with her family by her side. Born in Nottingham, England, Joan and family moved to Canada in 1968. Predeceased by her parents and husband John of 59 years. Left to mourn are her children Ian (Jill), daughter Janet (Ray) Bobrowski; grandson Andrew; granddaughters Selena (Ryan) Kuntz, Kimberly (Chris) Marsden and Karen Finn; great-grandchildren Brayden, Brighton, Isaac, Paighton, Kaiden and Jax. Joan had a great appreciation for music and was involved in several choirs, both in Moose Jaw and Regina. Joan's desire was to be laid to rest privately with the assistance of Rev. Derek Nicholls. The family would like to thank all who cared for Joan during her battle with cancer. Donations in Joan's memory can be made to the Regina Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
