Sarah Geraldine (Gerry) Jenkins
Peacefully at Souris Hospital on September 3, 2012 of Geraldine (Gerry) Jenkins (nee Mallard) of Souris, P.E.I., in her 83rd year.
Beloved wife of the late Francis Jenkins and adored mother of David (Alvina), Fran (Tommy), Millie (Richard) Boertien, Anna (Theo) Santing and Lorraine; grandmother of Angela, David, Kimberly, Cheryl, Amanda, Chris, Shana, Brett, Daulton and Laney and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers and sisters: Mary Frances, Charlie (Margaret), Helen, Isabelle, Mickey, Jeanne, Lloyd, Peter and Patsy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by her parents, Henry and Anna (nee McCormack) Mallard, Gowan Brae, P.E.I., and stepmother, Mary; her brothers, Joe, Leo and Jim.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home is Souris with visiting hours on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at St. Alexis Church, Rollo Bay, Friday morning, September 7, 2012 at 10 a.m.
