Passed away in Kamloops, B. C., on Sunday September 2nd, 2012, at the age of 83. Leora was born in Provost, AB. on April 1st, 1929.

Leora was predeceased by husband Claude in 1972 and her parents Henry and Kate.

Claude and Leora were married in Calgary AB. in 1955 and lived there until moving to Yellowknife N.W.T. in 1970. After Claude's passing, Leora moved to Kamloops in 1975 and taught school there until retirement. Leora touched many lives with her sense of humour and strong family values. If you ever wondered about a previous event, she had a remarkable memory for every detail.

Leora is survived by brother Bill "Wink" (Doris), son Tim (Pam), daughter Lorna (Gerry), son Glen (Jenny) and grandchildren Ryan, Liam and Conor and other family and friends that she kept in touch with most of her life. She was an incredible woman with a deep sense of loyalty.

At Leora's request, there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice, 72 Whiteshield Crescent S., Kamloops, B.C., V2E 2S9.
