Lorne Matthew Hunt, born May 29, 1960 in Stephenville Crossing, NL, passed away suddenly in Calgary, AB on Sept. 5, 2012 at the age of 52. Lorne is survived by his wife Nicole, 2 daughters: Natasha and Candace (Wolf) husband Chris and grandchildren Parker and Nixon; as well as his father Cecil Sr., brothers: Jack (Tara), Keith (Kay), Cecil Jr. (Kelly), sister Pat (Shannon) and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Calvin and mother Marie. Lorne spent 29 years working at Syncrude and raising a family in Fort McMurray, AB then moved to the Southern Alberta town of Strathmore. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 11:00 am at Lorne’s favourite park, Kinsmen Park in Strathmore, AB. This will be an outdoor service.
