NASON, VIVIAN LENORE - Peacefully at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam, NB and in the presence of her loving family, Vivian Lenore Nason went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at the age of 94. Born April 16, 1918 in Tracy, NB, she was a daughter of the late Frederick David and Carrie Jane (Phillips) Nason. Vivian was a faithful member of The Voice of Pentecost Church in McAdam. Vivian will always be remembered for her gift of hospitality and always ready with a cup of tea for whoever may drop by for a visit. The last surviving member of her immediate family, Vivian leaves behind three children, her daughter Dorothea Furrow of McAdam and sons Roland "Rollie" Nason (Mary) of Harvey and Brian Nason (Barbara) of Tracy; six cherished grandchildren, Dan Nason (Carole), Chris Nason (Meredith), Linda Cole (Richard), Kerry Little (Robin), David Nason and John Nason; ten adored great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Virgie Wilson of Truro, NS and Nellie Brawn of South Oromocto Lake; nieces and nephews. Her parents; husband Eugene Kingsley Nason; a grandson Andrew Nason; eight sisters, Effie, Jenny, Pearl, Helene, Louise, Eunice, Dorothea, Mildred and five brothers, Bennie, Gordon, Foster, Tenny and Alec all predeceased her.
The family will receive condolences at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Saturday, September 8 from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A celebration of Vivian's life will be held from Abundant Grace Sanctuary, Tracy, NB on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Robert Foster officiating assisted by Rev. Stephen Tompkins. Pallbearers for the service will be Dan, Chris, David and Tom Nason, Richard Cole and Robin Little. Interment in the Tracy Cemetery. The family wish to thank Dr. Paul Smith, nurses, management and staff at Wauklehegan Manor, McAdam for the excellent care Vivian received. Memorials to the Tracy Cemetery Fund or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
