James Hiebert of Kamloops passed away on August 24, 2012 at the age of 53 years.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Sandi, daughter Nicole Stapleton of Merritt, B.C., grandchildren Coltin and Cassandra-Mai, sister Shirley, brother Gary, nieces Sharlene and Sara, and nephews Devin, Corey and Shawn.
He was predeceased by his mother Irene "Betty" Hiebert and father Dave Hiebert.
Jim worked for the City of Kamloops in irrigation for many years. He loved his sports and enjoyed many hours playing with his grandchildren. Jim was very proud of his work in the MacArthur Island Park.
A Wake for Jim will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Jim's name to the Merritt Minor Hockey Association, 2075 Mamette Ave, Merritt, B.C. V1K 1L8.
