The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit of the Community Hospital, O’Leary surrounded by family on Saturday Sept. 8, 2012 of Daniel (Danny) Chaisson of St. Edward aged 62 years. Beloved husband of Erna (nee VanderBorden) Chaisson. Danny was born in St. Edward on October 14, 1949, the son of the late Wilfred and Rita (nee Bernard) Chaisson of Tignish Senior Home Care Co-op. Dear father to Jason (Heidi) Chaisson, Miminegash, Kevin Chaisson, Swan Hills, Alberta and Brian (Deshia) Chaisson, Swan Hills, Alberta. Loving grandfather to Brittany, Tristan, Lucas, Andre, Mirsadie and Carter. He is also survived by brothers and sisters Isadore, Hamilton, Ont., Aubrey (Melita), Joy (Dave) Murray, Bernard (Joanne), Pat (Diane) all of St. Edward and Ann Cameron (friend Iggy) of Charlottetown. He was predeceased by his father Wilfred, sister Brenda and father and mother in-law Maria & Arie VanderBorden. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 to 10 a.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Celebrant will be Rev. Brendan Gallant. Interment in the church cemetery.
