Wagner, Winifred M. - 80, of Liverpool and formerly of West Berlin, Queens County, died on Sunday, September 9th, 2012, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born on October 11th, 1931, in Port Mouton, she was a daughter of the late James and Nellie (Smith) Huskins. Winnie was a very active member of St. John’s Anglican Church, Eagle Head, where she was a member of the Church Choir, served on Church Council, and was Church Warden for many years. She was a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Mersey Branch #38, Liverpool, president of the Hilltop Senior Citizens for ten years and a member of the Seniors Activity Group, Liverpool. She is survived by son Douglas, of Bridgewater; sisters Rosalyn (Donald) Henderson, of Liverpool, Connie (Roy) Straton, of Picton, Ontario; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Harold; daughter Janice; sisters Joyce Joudrey, Marjorie Doggett; brothers Isaiah “Ike”, Lester. Funeral Service was held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from St. John’s Anglican Church, Eagle Head with Reverend Donald Lawton officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Anglican Cemetery, West Berlin.
