Clarence Blois
BLOIS, CLARENCE - It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Clarence M.G. Blois of Saint John, which occurred on Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 2, 1936 in Saint John, NB he was the son of the late Clarence and Ethel Mae (Currie) (Crawford) Blois. Clarence graduated from Saint John Vocational School, sold Real Estate for more than 20 years and was an active member of St. James Anglican Church Lakewood, Saint John Y’s Men, Probus and Kinsmen. Throughout his life Clarence shared his talent and passion for singing and entertaining with audiences young and old. He is survived by his loving wife Carol of 52 years; daughter Karen Bustin (Paul); sons David Blois (Tracy) and Lee Blois (Rina); seven grandchildren Ryan, Julia and Nicola Bustin; and Matthew, Trevor and Eric Blois and Tia Yabushita Blois; sisters Jean Godding, Elsie Judge and Inez Brynildsen; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Charlie, Rupert, Beverly, Doug, Stan, Arthur and Ron; sisters Ruby Chatterton, Ada Crawford and Marion Malin.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, (646-2424) with visitations on Thursday, September 13 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment will take place in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery.
