We are so sad to announce the passing of Hilda Heringer on September 10, 2012 at her home in Kamloops at the age of 87 years.

Hilda was born in Leslieville, Alberta on July 6th 1925. She lived there for 14 years and met her husband Paul Heringer and married in 1942.

They moved to Falkland, BC in the spring of 1946 and lived there for 2-1/2 years, then moved to Lumby in 1949 and lived there for 6 years, before moving to Kamloops in 1956.

She was predeceased by her husband Paul in 1991.

She is survived by her three children Paulette (Denis) Bombardier of Barriere, BC, Wayne (Linda) Heringer and Garry (Karen) Heringer both of Kamloops, BC, also brother Percy (Lee) Richardson of Edmonton, Alberta, sisters Vera (Jack) Shippobotham of Kamloops, BC, Laura Paynter of Surrey, BC, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren, along with numerous nephews and nieces.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Kamloops Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, 750 Notre Dame.
