Jean was born in Chase, BC. She lived and worked in Kamloops and moved to Pritchard in 1977 with Doug, where they farmed and the whole family had many enjoyable times. Jean worked hard gardening, raising animals, cutting and watering the grass, and their farm ended up looking like a park. Mom and Doug had many years of travel to France, England, Alaska, across Canada, winters in Yuma and down the eastern coast of the States. They both enjoyed golfing and did so as often as possible. Jean was a kind, caring, and giving person who will be sadly missed. She was deeply loved by people who knew her.

There will be no formal ceremony by request. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Royal Inland Hospital and the staff at Ponderosa Lodge, for their care of Jean.

Memorial donations in Jean's memory may be made to the BC Lung Association, P.O. Box 34009, Stn D., Vancouver, BC, V6J 9Z9, in lieu of flowers.
